Verifiable trading signals: AI market calls you can audit
The trouble with most signal services is that you only see the record they choose to show. QuantSquawk fixes every call in Bitcoin when it's made, so nothing can be edited, backdated or quietly deleted.
Open the accuracy ledgerWatch the live feedWhy most track records can't be trusted
- Deleted misses. A Discord or X account can remove wrong calls and leave the good ones up.
- Backdating. A screenshot or spreadsheet can be written after the move happened.
- Silent edits. "Bullish" becomes "cautiously bullish" once the price turns.
- Many accounts. Run ten accounts with random calls and promote whichever one got lucky.
None of these can be ruled out if the publisher controls the only copy of the record.
How QuantSquawk makes each call verifiable
1. Hash. When the AI scores a headline (−100 to +100), the headline, source, tier, score, instrument and timestamp are hashed with SHA-256.
2. Merkle root. Every hour the new hashes are combined into one Merkle root.
3. Bitcoin anchor. The root is timestamped in Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps. After that, changing any call would change the root, and it would no longer match what's in Bitcoin.
4. Check in your browser. Every call in the live feed and on the ledger has a ✓ Verify badge. It recomputes the hash and Merkle path on your machine and gives you the .ots proof file, so you don't have to trust our server.
What happens after a call
The ledger records the instrument's price when the call is made, 30 minutes later and at the close, and grades the call against the direction it named. The grading rules are published as methodology v1 and timestamped the same way. Calls made while the market is closed can't be measured, so they're marked unmeasurable rather than counted as hits.
The prices are measured afterwards, so they aren't part of the hash. What the proof guarantees is that the call itself was fixed before the move.
How it compares
| Typical signal service | QuantSquawk | |
|---|---|---|
| Calls timestamped by a third party | No | Yes, in Bitcoin |
| Misses stay published | Publisher's choice | Yes, can't be removed without detection |
| Grading rules published in advance | Rarely | Yes, versioned and timestamped |
| Check a call yourself | No | Yes, in your browser |
What we don't claim
- We don't claim a hit rate. The ledger is new. Hit rates appear on /accuracy only once at least 30 calls are graded.
- Verification proves when a call was made and that it's unchanged. It says nothing about whether the call was right.
- Scores are AI estimates for information only, not investment advice.
