Verify a call

Every QuantSquawk score is hashed when it's recorded. Each hour the new hashes are combined into a Merkle root that is timestamped in Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps. The checks below run in your browser, so you don't have to trust our server's word for them.

Check it yourself

1. The leaf is sha256(JSON.stringify([headline, source, tier, score, instrument, scored_at])) as lowercase hex.

2. Walk the Merkle path: for each step, hash sha256(sibling + current) if the sibling is on the left, or sha256(current + sibling) if it's on the right. The result must equal the anchored root.

3. Download the .ots file and check it against the root at opentimestamps.org, or run ots verify -d <root> file.ots. That proves the root, and so every row under it, existed unedited by that Bitcoin block's time.

The rules for grading a call as a hit or a miss are published as methodology v1 and timestamped the same way (proof). Rule changes get a new version; old versions stay online.

A proof shows when a score was recorded and that it hasn't changed. It says nothing about whether the score was right. Outcome columns (prices, hits) are measured afterwards and are not part of the hash. AI estimates only, not investment advice.
